EFC PRESIDENT TO ATTEND SUMMIT
Bruce J. Clemenger, president of The Evangelical Fellowship of Canada (EFC), will attend the 2010 World Religions Summit for Interfaith Leaders in the G8 Nations, June 21-23 in Winnipeg. This is the fifth such summit held in conjunction with the host country of the G8 summit and features faith leaders from the G8 nations.

EFC VP ATTENDS NATIONAL FORGIVENESS SUMMIT
Don Hutchinson, EFC’s vice-president and director of the Centre for Faith and Public Life, attended the National Forgiveness Summit held in Ottawa, June 11-13. The summit is one response to the Prime Minister’s request for forgiveness issued in the official apology to Indian residential school survivors on June 11. Mission roundtable welcomes Intern
The Global Mission Roundtable (GMR), which operates in partnership with the EFC, welcomes Jordan Ryan, who will assist Executive Director Matthew Gibbins as research intern. Ryan, a graduate student at the University of Toronto, will work on the GMR’s studies of the Canadian Church’s involvement in global mission, as well as the development of a long-term database for future research and missions partnership.Create your own LEGACY

THE EFC BOARD GROWS
Angela Draskovic, founder and president of ZOË Alliance Inc. has joined the EFC board as of May 2010. Welcome Angela! Please pray for the board as they helped lead the EFC forward.

THE EFC PARTICIPATES IN QUEBEC CONSULTATION
Don Hutchinson, vice-president of the EFC, and legal counsel Faye Sonier met with an interfaith leaders group in Montreal on June 11 to discuss issues relating to the place of faith in the public square in Quebec.

World Evangelical Alliance Members Invited to Respond
Significant numbers of Evangelicals actively participated in the 2010 Edinburgh Centenary Conference held June 2-6. They affirmed a Common Call reflecting the concerns and commitments of the broad range of participants. The World Evangelical Alliance, of which the EFC is a member, urges its members to review, reflect on and respond to this call to action.
