OTTAWA – On Friday, April 24, 2009, The Evangelical Fellowship of Canada’s Vice-President and General Legal Counsel Don Hutchinson will be present in the Supreme Court of Canada for the hearing of the appeal regarding the constitutional challenge to the Assisted Human Reproduction Act. Hutchinson will be available to the media on breaks and following the hearing.
The EFC has intervened jointly with the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops in this case, The Attorney General of Canada v. Attorney General of Quebec. The factum is available online. More details on the case are available in our March 13 media release.
