EQUIPPING EVANGELISTS MOVE TO NEW PLATFORM
The EFC congratulates Equipping Evangelists (E2) on moving onto the administrative and communications platform of Threshold Ministries (formerly Church Army). During the time that it operated on the EFC’s ministry partnerships platform, E2 has developed local-church networks that focus on developing the “evangelist” capacity within the congregational setting. Read how you can start an E2 network in your area.


EFC HOSTS NATIONAL ADOPTION ACTION GROUP
This week the EFC is hosting the National Adoption Strategy Working Action Group, comprised of Christian organizations actively involved in promoting adoption and fostering in Canada. The EFC first convened the group last fall to address the need of over 30,000 Canadian Children and youth who are waiting for a forever home. See the

EFC RELEASES DISCUSSION PAPER ON SEX-SELECTION AND ABORTION
In the same week as Maclean’s published a cover story on sex-selection, the EFC ’s Ottawa office released a discussion paper entitled Gendercide and Sex-Selection: Does it happen in Canada? The discussion paper explores the meanings of sex-selection and gendercide, international and the impact on both women and the world.


SCHOOL EQUITY POLICIES BULLY CHRISTIAN PARENTS
The EFC comments on the Edmonton Public School Board’s Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity policy and its
potential impact on local schools and Christian parents.
