Global missions roundtable meetings
The Global Missions Roundtable met for meetings at The Evangelical Fellowship of Canada (EFC) Markham office June 22-24. The new communications task force explores technological-based platforms for connecting, sharing information and facilitating discussions around common issues in the Canadian mission community. The roundtable has updated its Code of Best Practice in Short-Term Missions, to provide a standard for short-term mission practice and suggests elements that should be incorporated as a basic minimum. EFC LEGAL TEAM ATTENDS TRAINING ACADEMY
EFC Vice-President and General Legal Counsel Don Hutchinson and Legal Counsel Faye Sonier attended a week long specialized litigation academy with a focus on religious freedom legal intervention.
