EFC PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE ON HOMELESSNESS
What if you found yourself homeless, what would you do? Listen to a short message, by EFC President Bruce Clemenger, on homelessness and how you can help locally.

NEW STATUS FOR EFC AFFILIATE
The EFC would like to congratulate Providence University College on its new status as a university college. This was facilitated through the unanimous approval of the Manitoba Legislature, this past June. Providence has been a valued affiliate of the EFC since 2002. For more information on the benefits of affiliation and how your organization’s affiliation can help advance biblical values in the public square, at such an important time in Canadian history, contact Paul Hilsden at [email protected].

EFC WELCOMES INTERN AND ACCEPTS NEW APPLICATIONS
The EFC welcomed a new intern this month. Kathryn Nobel is completing the co-op portion of her law clerk diploma. EFC’s Center for Faith and Public Life is now accepting applications for all sessions of our student internship program. Please visit our internship webpage to read more information and watch our promotional video.

KNOW ANYONE CALLED TO INTERNATIONAL ADOPTION?
Is there a couple in your church or neighbourhood who has adopted a child from overseas? You can understand their experience better after reading Called to International Adoption, an article in the current issue of Faith Today. Read it and the complete issue online at www.faithtoday.ca/digitalsample.

WHAT IS EVANGELISM?
The Street Level Roundtable, a partnership operating on the EFC's administrative and communications platform, developed the statement, “What is Evangelism?” in 2009. Connect with Street Level to find out how you could host a regional conference on poverty in your community that looks at integrating evangelism and social justice themes.

WHAT DOES GOD EXPECT OF CITIZENS?
How should Christians view and interact with government? Read this article based on the assumption that God has a role for Christians in government, posted on Christianity.ca, Canada’s Christian library online.
