STOCKHOLM, Sweden<\/strong> \u2014 The World Evangelical Alliance (WEA) reinforced its role as a strategic bridge between the business community and the global Church through its active participation in the Stronger Together conference held in Sweden, 18th and 19th of September. The event brought together evangelical entrepreneurs, church leaders, and ministry network representatives from across the Nordic region to foster strategic alignment, fellowship, and collaborative action aimed at advancing the Kingdom of God.<\/p>\n\n\n

The WEA’s involvement\u2014represented by Chief of Staff Dr. Peirong Lin\u2014was vital in highlighting the importance of connecting market leaders with the broader mission of the Church. According to Sas Conradie, WEA\u2019s coordinator global generosity network, participating in entrepreneurship-focused events is essential to overcoming a longstanding disconnect between business people and church leaders. Gathering these groups together demonstrates how the WEA can play a significant catalytic role in facilitating genuine collaboration across the evangelical community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A central theme of the gathering was generosity and financial discipleship, highlighted by the Stockholm Generosity Dinner, which was organized in partnership with the Global Generosity Network (a WEA generosity initiative). As a direct outcome of this momentum, plans are now underway to launch a dedicated Swedish Generosity Network, with similar collaborative networks being explored in Norway and Denmark. These initiatives aim to inspire Christians across the Nordic region to live more generously and invest their resources into advancing God\u2019s Kingdom both locally and globally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Engagement with the WEA\u2019s Call33 initiative was also warm and positive. Participants explored how Nordic business leaders and networks could actively shape Call33, consider its specific regional focus, and further integrate the principles of generosity into its long-term vision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reflecting on the discussions with leaders and entrepreneurs in Sweden, Conradie highlighted key takeaways regarding the role of evangelical business leaders within the wider WEA ecosystem: structural space for entrepreneurs, missional business models and cultivating kingdom generosity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
