The Denison Forum on Truth and Culture recently became an associate member of the World Evangelical Alliance (WEA). We warmly welcome them to the WEA family.

Could you briefly describe your organization?

The Denison Forum on Truth and Culture (DFTC) is a nonsectarian "think tank" designed to engage contemporary culture with biblical truth. The ministry was co-founded by Dr. Jim Denison and Jeff Byrd.

A more complete description of our story is available at www.denisonforum.org/about-us; more information about Dr. Denison is available at www.denisonforum.org/about-us/about-dr-jim-denison

Why do you think it is important to be a member of the WEA?

The WEA's vision for Christ-like transformation around the world aligns very closely with our own vision. We believe that collaborative ministry offers the world the best example of the body of Christ. Being a member of the WEA is one way our ministry can model this "unity in Christ" as well as benefit from its collaborative resources.

How can your organization contribute to the WEA’s mission to be a voice, to connect and to equip the evangelical community?

Like the WEA, we seek to be a resource for Christians, ministries and churches. The content on our website www.denisonforum.org  and in our resource library, resources.denisonforum.org, is available for anyone to read, download and use for Kingdom purposes.

Our ministry is designed to be a forum, where people can discuss questions and issues on a daily basis. Dr. Denison writes a free, daily email titled the Cultural Commentary that is sent to over 80,000 people in 181 countries each weekday.

These daily articles are based on the news or current issues in the world, but written from a biblical/spiritual perspective. Readers are encouraged to comment on the articles and share their views, their questions and their stories at www.denisonforum.org/cultural-commentary.

Where do you see opportunities for collaboration and partnership with the WEA?

God is on the move in marvelous ways throughout the world, and we hope our content can serve as a resource to fuel the awakening that is transforming so many cultures in Latin America, Asia, Australia, and Africa.

However, we know that the moral and cultural trajectory of North America and Western Europe has turned decidedly post-modern and increasingly post-Christian, and we have a heart to see these cultures turn back towards Christ.

Dr. Denison is a subject matter expert in areas such as Radical Islam, World Religions, Democracy and Morality, Genetic Medicine and Medical Ethics, and others.
