Thomas Schirrmacher becomes a member of the Advisory Board of the Institute for the Freedom of Faith & Security in Europe Foundation (IFFSE), an initiative of the Conference of European Rabbis [February 2022]

On invitation of the President of the Conference of European Rabbis, Chief Rabbi Pinchas Goldschmidt (Moscow), and Institute-Director Professor Peter Neumann (London), Thomas Schirrmacher was installed as a member of the Advisory Board of the Institute for the Freedom of Faith & Security in Europe Foundation  (IFFSE), an initiative of the Conference of European Rabbis.

  6. Yahya Pallavicini (*1965), President and imam of the COREIS (Italian Islamic Religious Community), one of the principal organisations of institutional representation of the Islamic religion in Italy with a vocation for theological training, ecumenism and intercultural education
  7. Andrea Riccardi, former professor of history founder of the Catholic Community Sant’Egidio (1968)
  8. Manuel Valls, Prime Minister of France (2014-2016)

Pinchas Goldschmidt (*1963) has been the Chief Rabbi of Moscow, Russia since 1993 serving at the Moscow Choral Synagogue. He also founded and heads the Moscow Rabbinical Court of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) since 1989, and since 2011 serves as President of the Conference of European Rabbis (CER) which unites over seven hundred communal rabbis from Dublin to Khabarovsk.
