Later during the day he also had a discussion with the same Metropolitan and His All Holiness, the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, the Patriarch of Constantinople.

Eustratius (Zorya) is Archbishop of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Kyiv Patriarchate and as of 2018 of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine. His civil name is Ivan Volodymyrovych Zoria and he was born on 21 October 1977 in Cherkassy. He received his doctorate from the Kiev Theological Academy and has been a lecturer at the same university since 2001 and a professor since 2008. Starting as the hippodacon to the Kiev Patriarch Filaret from 1997, his career let him to be appointed as Bishop in 2008 and serving as the Secretary of the Holy Synod of the Kyiv Patriarchate since 2010. In 2012 he became Ordinary of the Eparchy of Chernihiv and at the same time received the dignity of Archbishop. In 2023 he was appointed Ordinary of the newly created Eparchy of Bialystok. Metropolitan Epiphanius also conferred on him the dignity of Metropolitan.
