One in eight Christians face persecution for their faith. The WEA works tirelessly and effectively to help them. Using our special status with the United Nations our Global Advocacy teams in UN based cities like Geneva, New York and Bonn speak to the powerful on behalf of the powerless. They collaborate with governments and world leaders to rescue Christians from countries where remaining would be a death sentence. Pastors get released from prison.  Closed churches are re-opened. Discriminatory laws are overturned.
