Johnnie Moore (born 1983) is an American evangelical leader and businessman who founded the Kairos Company, a public relations firm. Moore is a commissioner of the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom and president of the Congress of Christian Leaders. He is a member of the Anti-Defamation League’s Task Force for Protecting Minority Groups in the Middle East and is on the advisory council of the Combat Anti-Semitism Movement. He is a recipient of the prestigious Medal of Valor from the Simon Wiesenthal Center and has been named one of America’s twenty five most influential evangelicals.
In 2017 Moore spoke out against the poor treatment of Muslims I China, after which the People’s Republic of China imposed retaliatory sanctions on Moore and banned him from entering territory under its control. He is a proponent of the UAE Crown Prince’s Vision 2030 reform agenda, played a key role in the publication of the historic Bahrain Declaration calling for rights for religious minorities in the Middle East and met with numerous presidents, ministers of Islamic Affairs, Justice and Education and leaders throughout the Islamic world and in the Middle East, advocating for religious freedom, religious minorities and persecuted Christians. In 2015, for example, he chartered a private jet and organized the evacuation and resettlement of ISIS victims from northern Iraq to Slovakia. This was the first in a series of efforts that eventually led to the resettlement of over 10,000 Christian and Yazidi refugees displaced by ISIS. He was also involved in bringing together liberal, moderate and conservative evangelicals in a joint call to prayer for peace in North Korea.
