Katherine Marshall is a senior fellow at Georgetown University’s Berkley Center for Religion, Peace, and World Affairs. She directs the Center’s work on religion and global development. She is also a professor of development, conflict, and religious practice at the Walsh School of Foreign Service. She is co-founder and executive director of the World Faiths Development Dialogue, a non-governmental organization dedicated to building bridges between different sectors and institutions. Marshall has five decades of experience on a wide range of development issues in Africa, Latin America, East Asia, and the Middle East, particularly as they relate to the world’s poorest countries. She was a World Bank staff member from 1971 to 2006 and led the World Bank’s Faith and Ethics Initiative from 2000 to 2006.
