Police on January 5 arrested three Christians for luring a man to convert into Christianity with monetary incentives and other benefits in Karnataka’s state Bangalore.
The arrest took place on the basis of the complaint filed by Prabod Kumar Das against three Christians identified as Rama Reddy, Micoh Barbosa and Asmira Barbosa in HAL Airport.
The complaint stated that the Christians were involved in denigration of Hindu gods and also promised Das money and a job if he agreed to convert.
The Christians were arrested under Section 448,153(A), 295 (A) read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code for house trespassing, promoting enmity between groups on grounds of religion and malicious act intended to outrage religious feelings of others with acts done in furtherance of common intention respectively. The Fir No is 3/09
The believers were released on bail.
Please pray for the suffering Christians and for Karnataka.
