150 nations have registered to be part of GDOP 2009, and it is only February!

This is truly a miracle!  We are trusting God that history will be made when hundreds of millions of Christians from every single nation on the face of the earth will humble themselves and pray in unison that God will transform our nations.
Please visit the website www.globaldayofprayer.com to see if your country is registered or not.

This year we are praying that the nations of the world would develop a much deeper sense of a ‘lifestyle of prayer’ that flows out of the day of repentance and prayer on the 31st of May.

This year’s GDOP Global Broadcast (which will be aired on God TV) will be anchored from Hong Kong. As the GDOP Team we are truly blessed to be with our sisters and brothers in Hong Kong during this time!  However, while we are there we are excited to be able to follow your nation’s GDOP event, and look forward to broadcast live feeds from many of the 220 nations of the world via God TV!  More information about the broadcast schedule will be sent out in the next few months.
Another very significant development for the Kingdom is our developing partnership with Call2All, a movement that is bringing prayer and missions together in order to fulfill the Great Commission.

Call2All will host a back-to-back International Congress in Hong Kong in the week directly following GDOP. The GDOP team will also attend the Call2All Congress and we challenge you to mobilize key prayer partners from your region to join us for the Call2All conference in Hong Kong.  How awesome it would be to see the world unite in prayer on 31 May and then meet with key leaders from every nation in the following days to strategize and pray together towards the fulfillment of the Great Commission?!

Since this congress is based in Asia in 2009, we would also request that you pray for the believers in Asia and particularly for Missionaries and Mission agencies that operate in Asia.
Here is some more information on Call2All and a personal invitation from the Call2All President, Mark Anderson:

Call2All presently has hundreds of partners, including some of the largest Christian organizations in the world.  Some of these are: Campus Crusade, Youth With A Mission, International Mission Board, Wycliffe, Graham Power & Global Day Of Prayer, GodTV, DAWN Ministries, Jack Hayford of the Foursquare Denomination, and the Luis Palau Evangelistic Association, to name a few.
Call2All is about all nations, all spheres of society, all denominations and all unreached people groups. It is a discussion-centered, action-oriented movement focusing on where the Church is NOT, rather than where it is. The purpose of Call2All is not to replace existing networks, but to strategically sharpen and expand our collaborative efforts and focus on fulfilling the Great Commission together.
Call2All Congresses gather the top Christian business people, educators, leaders in media and government, heads of prayer movements and countless key pastors.
As the president of this movement, I would like to invite you to attend the Call2All Global Congress in Hong Kong from June 1 – 5, 2009.  We are partnering with the Global Day of Prayer to be held on May 31, 2009 in Hong Kong.
Please visit our website at www.call2all.org
<http://www.call2all.org> to learn more about this movement, to register for the Global Congress in Hong Kong and to sign up for regular updates from us.  I hope you can join us for this powerful time of prayer, unity and collaboration in the body of Christ.
I welcome you to partner with the global church!
Until Everyone is Reached,

Mark E. Anderson

We trust that you are sharing in our excitement as God’s glory is busy penetrating every sphere of society. Thank you for your efforts in organizing and leading GDOP in your nation. May we be united in Spirited on 31 May 2009 and the days to come.
God’s Richest Blessings!
