Dear Friends,

The International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church is just days away!

The designated date for IDOP 2011, is Sunday, November 13 (Sunday, November 6 in the UK and Ireland)

International Day of Prayer is set apart for us to remember thousands of our Christian brothers and sisters from around the world who suffer persecution, simply because they confess Jesus Christ as Lord.

So, we invite you once again to find out more about IDOP 2011 and download special resources designed to help you get involved and pray effectively for the persecuted. Please visit the IDOP international website at www.idop.org  and join fellow Christians worldwide in praying for persecuted Christians in the coming weeks.

We also encourage Churches where possible to dedicate offerings on the 6th and 13th of November in aid of the persecuted church. Such contributions could be sent over to World Evangelical Alliance – Religious Liberty Commission where these funds would be used for the sole purpose of serving the persecuted Church worldwide.

If you would like to make an online donation to WEA Religious Liberty Commission, click here.

Online donation note: In the Comments box of the Payment Information section, please be sure to write "RLC" to ensure your gift is specifically designated to WEA's Religious Liberty Commission.

For direct donations, kindly send your contributions to the WEA RLC office in Sri Lanka to the care of ‘NCEASL’. (National Christian Evangelical Alliance of Sri Lanka)
