NAE Insight – Winter 2010/11
The Winter 2010/11 edition of the NAE Insight celebrates the Third Lausanne Congress on World Evangelization held in Cape Town in October with articles and quotes from conference attendees as well as notes from the executive chair of the Lausanne Committee for World Evangelization. Other articles highlight the recent release of the seventh edition of "Operation World" (a tool to help Christians pray for other areas of the world), how one chaplain is carrying the message of God's love to Djibouti, how farming techniques are opening doors in Indonesia, and much more. Orlando 2011 Leadership Consultation
From Cape Town 2010 to Orlando 2011 and Beyond  

Leaders from every arena in the evangelical Church will come together in April to define the issues facing the Church and identify its next steps in proclaiming the gospel. We will discuss and discern how the Spirit is reshaping our understanding of evangelism today and explore how the U.S. Church can partner with the global Church to reach the nations with the message of salvation through Jesus Christ. Open Letter on Marriage
NAE President Leith Anderson and the heads of many NAE denominations joined leaders of other U.S. religious communities in an open letter that displays the broad consensus and commitment to the protection of marriage as the union of one man and one woman. (read more)

Support Peace in Sudan
Following decades of conflict in which an estimated 2.5 million people died and millions more were displaced, leaders of the warring parties in Sudan signed a Comprehensive Peace Agreement in 2005, which calls for a referendum on independence for Southern Sudan to be held on Jan. 9.  Please pray that the referendum will take place peacefully on Jan. 9 and that the results of the referendum will be respected by all parties.
