aMC MEMBERS MEET WITH MP’S
Members of the Aboriginal Ministries Council (AMC), which operates on the communications and administrative platform of The Evangelical Fellowship of Canada (EFC), met with Members of Parliament and several legislative aides in Ottawa on June 10. Good discussions took place on suicide prevention and reconciliation between native and non native communities. Ongoing dialogue and next steps are already being considered.
Help Evangelicals in Sri Lanka
The EFC's Geoff Tunnicliffe visited Sri Lanka recently and the EFC has set up a relief fund for the National Christian Evangelical Alliance of Sri Lanka, which is feeding over 10,000 people every day in the aftermath of 30 years of armed conflict and the displacement of more than 300,000 people. Use the EFC donate page but type the words "Sri Lanka" in the comments line.
Access to Christian Schooling research without going to the library
The EFC’s (EFC) Centre for Research on Canadian Evangelicalism continues to expand its collection of online topical bibliographies on aspects of Canadian Evangelicalism. Our Christian Schooling page has many new additions. The Canadian Evangelicalism Bibliographies Project is easily searched and many of the entries are directly linked to either an abstract or the document itself.
efc on social issues
You can always access updates on the issues the EFC is involved with, like recent support for a bill to increase affordable housing options for Canadians and religious persecution in Egypt, on the social issues page of the EFC website.

STILL WHOLE, STILL TRANSFORMED BY LOVE
Elderly people have spiritual needs. Three chaplains talk about their ministry with elders on Christianity.ca, the EFC’s website for the Christian community in Canada.
The Evangelical Fellowship of Canada is the national association of evangelical Christians, gathered together for influence, impact and identity in ministry and public witness. Since 1964 the EFC has provided a national forum for Evangelicals and a constructive voice for biblical principles in life and society.
