Could you briefly describe your organization?
OneHope is an international ministry that is changing lives by sharing Scripture with young people around the world. Each Scripture program is age-specific and customized based on research OneHope conducts among children and youth, leaders and educators in the countries it works. In collaboration with churches and ministries—and working with local governments, schools and non-governmental organizations—OneHope has reached nearly a billion young people in more than 125 countries with a relevant Gospel message.
Why do you think is important to be a member of WEA?
We believe in empowering the local church to do the work of the church. We seek to partner with others, like the WEA, who have the same passion and vision – seeing God glorified and the Gospel proclaimed in all the nations of the earth.
How can your organization contribute to WEA's mission of being a voice, to connect and to equip the evangelical community?
Not only does OneHope serve as a strategic and innovative voice in children and youth ministry, but we are also passionate about connecting and empowering local pastors and communities through trainings and resources. Through the WEA, we can grow even closer to our goal of reaching every child in the world with the Gospel of Jesus through the local church.
What are the areas/fields for future cooperation and partnership with WEA?
We resource thousands of churches with materials to reach their children with the Good News. We also conduct extensive research, train local leaders in effective ministry and partner with churches and organizations to create materials that share the Gospel in a relevant way. OneHope looks forward to partnering with WEA in all of these areas.
