Latin Evangelical Alliance Participates in International Conference on Migration, Children and Families in Honduras

Rev. Alberto Solorzano, President of the Latin Evangelical Alliance, spoke at the International Conference on Migration, Children and Families in Tegucigalpa, Honduras on July 16th and 17th. Many Latin American governments were present at the conference, including Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Costa Rica and Panama. The United Nations System, the Organization of American States, the Central American Integration System, international cooperation agencies and civil society representatives were also at the conference.

Solorzano stressed how the flow of children and adolescents into the United States during the past year has been one of the greatest humanitarian crises of our time and the need to come up with a comprehensive solution. He also pointed out that this crisis has many significant opportunities to not only solve the problem, but to come out of it stronger.
