A group of Hindu activists attacked a group of Christian families on January 6 in Kharbar District of Udaipur, Rajasthan.

The incident took place around 9.00 in the evening during a prayer meeting which was being conducted at a believer’s house named Naru. Around two–three Christian families had come to attend the meeting.

The miscreants surrounded the house and then barged inside the room and started beating the families present. Due to this, several people have received severe injuries. Also, Naru, in whose house the prayer meeting was being conducted, was tied down in a room by the activists.

The local Christians are trying to contact the Inspector General of that area and are also in the process of sending a report to the state minority commission.

The local police have refused to divulge any information regarding the incident.

Pray for the injured believers and that the miscreants would be caught and be brought to justice.
