First Love

Revelation 2:2 & 5f – I know your deeds, your hard work and your perseverance ……..yet I have this against you: you have forsaken your first love….. Repent and do as you did at first.

The problems of doing too much are not solved by doing less. They are solved by inner transformations (Seeking the Silence, Charles Ringma).

Religious Activism without God’s grace lacks power and authority. Let’s us ask God to help us keep anchored in Him so that our motivation and action is empowered by God’s grace.

Asia Regional Consultation: 17th to 21st October 2011

This gathering is occurring as we pray this week; 199 delegates from 16 countries are meeting in Sri Lanka. Please pray:

For each delegate to experience God’s presence and be challenged to practically engage in holistic mission in their communities and organisations.

For LEADS, our member who is hosting the consultation – that the time and effort they have poured into this week will bear fruit and they each staff member will know God’s please in their life.

The resort staff where we are staying that the witness we have been to those around us would bear fruit and that God would work in their lives to bring them to a knowledge and acceptance of Christ.

Zambia Integral Mission Conversation and Reconciliation Workshop: 17th to 17th November 2011

This gathering will be held in Lusaka. Please pray for:
- Participants to register and engage in this event
- Preparations and logistics
- powerful move of God to touch the lives and communities of these attending.

he Lord is my Shepherd

From Surya Karada
The LORD is my shepherd, I lack nothing

This where the shepherd does all what he can to take care of the Sheep as God does to His people. The statement I shall not want displays absolute trust in God. We absolutely must put our trust in God because only Him can be trusted unlike a man who can say one thing and do the opposite.

TLMI Bangladesh

From Martin Adhikary
Please pray for the staff changes currently being tackled in TLMI, new staff coming in and staff retiring.

Famine Crisis in Horn of Africa

Please continue to pray for the on-going response and that the food aid will reach all who are in need. Please also pray for the follow up meetings from our first Disaster Management meeting on the 16th September. Pray for greater synergies between Christian organisations and local churches. Pray for wisdom as we consider when to hold a follow up meeting.

Micah Network

Please pray that each of us will be able to discern God’s guidance as we seek to help our staff and colleagues grow their knowledge and application of integral mission. Pray that they will fan into flame their first love.

Let us pray for new members coming into Micah Network, that they will quickly ben able to link up with others and benefit from the sources and fellowship with the Network.
