Pastor Matthew Ling was the Senior Pastor at Calvary Family Church in Malaysia for 20 years before he stepped down in 2013 to focus fully on serving churches in developing effective family ministry.
It was his passion for family life ministry that led Matthew to undertake his postgraduate studies in Family Life Education at Concordia University Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA, in 2008. A Certified Family Life Educator and a professional member of the National Council On Family Relations, Matthew is also a licensed trainer with the Family Friendly Partners Network ministry of Michigan, U.S.A.
Matthew currently provides global leadership to Family Challenge of World Evangelical Alliance (WEA) and chairs the Family Life Commission of Asia Evangelical Alliance of WEA. He is also leading the family ministry development in the Transform World and the 4-14 Window movements.
