Subject: Pastors beaten in Hanumangarh, Rajasthan

Two pastors were attacked and beaten by a mob of villagers on the evening of March 7, 2007 in Hanumangarh, Rajasthan.

The pastors had gone to a village in Hanumangarh to conduct a prayer meeting. Both pastors were beaten badly and were denied medical assistance at the village. A First Information Report (FIR) has not yet been lodged.

Please pray that the pastors will be properly treated for their injuries soon. Pray also for the local Christians in the village as they deal with fear because of what has taken place. Details of the episode, including names of the pastors and the specific village where the incidence took place have not been disclosed for security reasons.
