From March 9-12, 2025, the Women’s Commission of the Latin Evangelical Alliance (AEL) hosted the 4th “Women in Victory” Congress in Santiago de Chile. The event brought together female pastors and Christian leaders to deliver a renewed message about living a life of integrity in Christ Jesus, especially in a context where voices opposing Christian principles have become more prominent.
During the congress, participants reaffirmed the importance of their inherent dignity confidently declaring their identity as daughters of God. In a world that often challenges Christian values, the delegates highlighted the need to develop an understanding of biblical values so that we may live with integrity.
The event was an enriching experience, beginning with a warm welcome dinner hosted by Bishop Emiliano Soto, President of the UNE Chile Expanded Board, and the team of host pastors. The congress concluded with an extraordinary gala dinner designed to leave a lasting impression on all attendees, with every detail carefully planned to ensure a unique experience.

Distinguished speakers contributed significantly to achieving the congress’s objectives. Among them were Dr Fátima Oliva, Coordinator of the AEL Women’s Commission, and Delegates: Pastor Magda de Ramírez (Costa Rica); Pastor Cinthia Hieber (Paraguay); Psychologist Gloria Hernández (Uruguay); Pastor Loly Matamoros (Honduras); Pastor Ligia Würfel (Argentina); and Pastor Carmen de Castro (El Salvador).
To commemorate International Women’s Day, the delegates participated in a public event at the former Congress of Santiago de Chile, where they shared a message of faith and hope for women. This event was attended by the Minister of Women and Gender Equity, Lic. Antonia Orellana; Bishop Emiliano Soto, President of the Expanded Board; and other local authorities.
