“Stop in your ways and consider, and inquire into the ways of the ancients,

Where is the good way, and walk in it; and ye shall find rest for your souls” (Jeremiah 6:16).

(Jeremiah 6:16)

Mr. President!

Our letter is motivated by deep concern and anxiety for the fates of the peoples of many countries who may be affected by the devastating consequences of the military conflict between Ukraine and Russia.

We propose to stop and sit down at the negotiating table in order to find a peaceful solution to the global confrontation, which has become particularly acute in recent days.

May the Lord give you as the head of the world power the wisdom to find a peaceful solution and bring happiness, prosperity and real protection to many people in Russia, Ukraine and other countries.

In prayer for you,

from the Euro-Asian Federation of Evangelical Christian-Baptist Unions
