Caribbean: St. Vincent For Christ ’07

The Association of Evangelical Churches in St. Vincent and the Grenadines plans to divide the country into eight strategic zones and hold evangelistic crusades simultaneously in each zone March 18-25, 2007.There will be pre-crusade activities in individual towns and villages within each zone impacting the entire spiritual nerve of the nation.

In March 2005 the Association teamed up with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association for a National Crusade with Evangelist Dr. Ralph Bell in the capitol city of Kingstown . This powerfully impacted the city. Next year’s effort, however, is more ambitious and is expected to impact the whole nation, targeting large populations in strategic areas throughout the country.

These simultaneous crusades will take place at a very strategic time when Cricket World Cup 2007 is being played in the Caribbean . Some of the matches are scheduled for St. Vincent and thousands of foreigners will be converging on the island to attend the games.

Prayer Requests

1. Pray for the Director, John Lewis , and the Crusade staff including the Zonal Coordinators.

2. Pray for the right persons to volunteer to fill key positions on various committees

3. Pray for direction on the selection of speakers, which is on going, and the anointing of God upon them as they declare the Gospel with boldness and clarity.

4. Pray for thousands to come to Christ and that the nation will be transformed.

5. Pray that the overall budget of US$115,384.61 will be realized.
