"You have to quickly forget your mistakes and move on.” These were the repeated words of the sport TV commentators at the London Olympic Games, as they were reporting and commenting on the athletes who made mistakes in the games. The athletes have trained themselves mercilessly with sweat, tears and sometimes blood for so many years and particularly the last four years to compete for the medals.

Still mistakes are made. We do often the same. But we must not allow those mistakes to keep us down. We have to honestly admit our mistakes, quickly make confessions, cleanse ourselves and make a fresh start. We are imperfect and fall creatures, redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ shed on the cross. We should not punishing ourselves for the mistakes we made and keep ourselves down for no good purpose.

We are reminded of the exhortation by St. Paul, “Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus” (Phil. 3:13-14). His mercy is new every morning.

Asia has more than a half of the entire world population on the 19% real estates. We have great challenges ahead everywhere and much work to do for the Lord. We cannot afford to stay down. We have to move on with fresh dedication to the Lord and win victories for the Lord and His glory. "The Lord's mercies . . . new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness”(Lam. 3:23).
