WEA in Search of Director of Global Development

The World Evangelical Alliance (WEA) is in search of a person to initiate its North American Office of Development. This opportunity blends the global work of the WEA and its affiliates with donors whose interests match its vision and strategies. This position is currently open.

The purpose of this new role in WEA is to launch and manage a professional department of development designed to serve and support the mission of the WEA. There will be three phases: first, the Office of Development will build the support base to fund the global office of the WEA. Second, it will assist National Alliances in building indigenous support for their core operations and third, it will oversee the setting up of an International Office, matching donor interests with projects of Regional and National Alliances, WEA’s Task Forces and Commissions.

The person we look for is passionate about the witness of Christ in the world, skilled and experienced in developing and managing fundraising programs and ministries, wanting to work in a collegial mission and desirous of serving in a global community.
