Join with members of the global Micah community from over 89 countries as we explore the theme of Integral Mission and Shalom: justice, peace, joy through the lens of theology and practice.
The word “Shalom” conveys a powerful vision of peace. This is not just the absence of conflict, it is an all-encompassing peace:
· Peace with God
· Peace with one another
· Peace with creation
Shalom captures God’s intent and purpose for us all. Life in all its fullness. It reflects the Kingdom of God’s relational dynamic.
The consultation will feature challenging plenaries, interactive workshops and valuable relationship-building opportunities as we bring together Christian leaders, thinkers and practitioners from diverse sectors to learn, share and engage. The full programme (draft) can be viewed here.
In addition, this Consultation will be an opportunity to engage with Micah advocacy response to the post-2015 development agenda, featuring opportunities to engage with a new global campaigning strategy.
The event will be presented via simultaneous translation in English, Spanish, Portuguese and French.
Contribute
