Under the leadership of an emerging World Evangelical Alliance Global Task Force on Disaster Management, the Philippine Council of Evangelical Churches (PCEC) is hosting a regional Disaster Management Consultation in Manila September 16-20, 2013. The theme of the Consultation is 'Solidarity in Disaster Management'.
Advanced by the PCEC, Micah Network, Integral Alliance, the Humanitarian Disaster Institute at Wheaton College, and other like minded bodies, the Manila Consultation is the latest in a series of ongoing regional consultations leading towards the WEA General Assembly in Seoul, South Korea, October 18-26, 2014, and a WEA Global Congress on Disaster Management in 2018.
