                                          Blow the Trumpet!
A Call for Repentance and Prayer
                                                  Joel 2

Dear Friends

Imagine - hundreds of millions of Christians in ALL the countries of the world,  gathering to have a Day of Repentance and Prayer – whether it be a stadium, coliseum or arena full of people or a few believers coming together in secret for fear of persecution, some even in their work place.

With 176 countries registered so far and 57 days to go, we believe that we can once again see a glimpse of the fulfillment of Habakkuk 2:14 : “For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.”

We are fervently praying that the urgent call from Joel 2 will echo throughout at least 220 nations to return to God with repentance on a level never seen before. Yes, this would be a time of rendering our hearts to God and to see the fulfillment of the promise of the Holy Spirit on all flesh.  For more information visit www.globaldayofprayer.com.

Allow us to use this space to ask for your prayers and assistance in finding contacts for some of the hard to reach nations.

San Marino (Europe)

The 3rd smallest state in Europe (after the Holy See and Monaco), San Marino also claims to be the world’s oldest republic. According to tradition, it was founded by Marinus, a Christian stonemason in AD 301. Pray for a return to following Christ. For more on San Marino click here.  (Courtesy of www.PrayEurope.com)

If you know anyone who would be willing to help us get San Marino involved in the Global Day of Prayer, please let us know.

St Pierre & Miquelon (North America)

Last year (2009) four volunteers from different places in Canada went to this tiny island nation to be there on the Global Day of Prayer.  On the island they made contact with the only 2 believers.  Read more about it on page 3 of this link http://www.globaldayofprayer.com/downloads/feedback/2009/NORTH_AMERICA.pdf.

Please join us as we pray for contact with the 2 ladies and their participation in GDOP.

We would also like to remind you of the Global Day of Prayer Celebration conference in Cape Town 19 – 23 May 2010.
