WEA Joins Global Faith Leaders at Faith-Consistent Investment Forum in Paris

On 17–18 April 2026, Dr. Peirong Lin attended The International Faith-Consistent Investment Forum in Paris. The forum brought together 33 faith traditions and networks from four major religions.t

The forum provided a platform for participants to share expertise in faith-consistent investment initiatives, explore potential collaborative frameworks, and prepare for collective action.

The Good Intentions study was also launched during the forum. The study evaluated 275 publicly available investment policies and guidelines, assessing how well they align with faith-based principles. The findings reveal an evolving sector: while commitment to faith-consistent investing is growing, most organizations have yet to fully integrate their values into how capital is allocated, managed, and monitored.

As a grassroots organization, the World Evangelical Alliance represents Evangelicals across the globe. Dr. Lin noted that it was helpful to learn from existing practices and to consider how faith-consistent investment can be applied within Evangelical Alliance networks.

“As we know, where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. As God loves the world, we want to support Evangelicals to invest in a way that reflects God’s love.”
