John Girgis, WEA’s permanent representative to the United Nations in New York, along with Dennis Petri and Kyle Wisdom, representing the International Institute for Religious Freedom, participated in the International Religious Freedom Summit. The IRF Summit is a civil society-led event, supported by a diverse coalition of partners who care passionately about advancing the cause of international religious freedom. This year, 2024, marked the fourth annual meeting of the Summit. This two-day event took place in Washington DC at the end of January. Drs. Petri and Wisdom both spoke on panels at the event, highlighting the violent incidents database.
