The Secretary General of the World Evangelical Alliance, Rev. Botrus Mansour adds his voice to that of fellow evangelicals in India in denouncing the unprovoked hideous attack against Christian brothers in Manipur, India.
We express our deep condolences to the family and friends of those who paid the ultimate price for their faith. We call for accountability to those who carried out this hate crime and other means of deterrence to ensure such crimes don’t happen again. We also request the local, regional and national authorities take this hate crime against Christians seriously and implement appropriate legal, legislative and security steps to guarantee the safety of our fellow Christians in India.
